Meteohub manual describes how to setup Meteohub on your hardware. Files needed for that are found on this page.


Raspberry PI

To prepare a Raspberry PI for Meteohub you simply have to prepare a SD card and plug it in. SD cards should have sizes of 8 GB or 16 GB to allow for storing data of many years. Cards below 4 GB won't work. Please also consult Raspberry PI wiki to find suitable cards, that are accepted by the RPI and do perform nicely

Version 5.0s supports RPI Model B, Model B+, Model 2 and Model 3: compressed SD card image (Version 5.0s)

Version 5.0p supports RPI Model B, Model B+ and Model 2: compressed SD card image (Version 5.0p)

Version 5.0f supports RPI Model B, Model B+ and Model 2: compressed SD card image (Version 5.0f) **outdated**

Version 5.0 supports RPI Model B and B+ only: compressed SD card image (Version 5.0) **outdated**

Version 4.9z supports RPI Model B only: compressed SD card image (Version 4.9z) **outdated**


NSLU2

To prepare a NSLU2 for Meteohub two things have to be done. Firmware in the NSLU2 internal flash storage has to be replaced by a Meteohub boot loading firmware. In addition to that it needs a USB stick to be prepared with a Meteohub image.

"Official" x86 System (ebox, ALIX, fit-PC Slim)

Meteohub supported x86 mini systems (ebox, ALIX, fit-PC Slim) get their Meteohub installation by booting from a prepared USB stick.

SheevaPlug

SheevaPlug needs an update of its uboot bootloader and a prepared SD card to boot Meteohub from.

DreamPlug

DreamPlug needs an update of its uboot bootloader environment and a prepared SD card to boot Meteohub from.

iConnect

Iomega iConnect needs a specially prepared USB stick to patch the iConnect with and to be used as system and data volume for Meteohub operation later on.

DC01

Silverstone DC01 needs two files on a regular formatted USB stick and SSH access to be transformed into a Meteohub. Attached zip archive contains the necessary files.

Allwinner A10 Mini X

Mini X system based on Allwinner A10 chipset can boot from microSD card from stock, if the card is prepared correctly. Attached rr archive contains the necessary disk image to be brought onto a 8GB microSD card.

VMware

This image allows to have Meteohub running in a virtual machine of VMware player.

Remark: Demo period has timed out, but you can use "update (auto)" function on page "maintenance" to install a never version, which will give you some time for testing.
